Check the name and the address
Karacasöğüt and Söğüt on the Bozburun side of Marmaris are separate settlements. Use the full address for reservations and directions. Official tourism information identifies Karacasöğüt among the region’s yacht harbour locations.
A short harbour-side walk followed by a meal or rest can form a worthwhile visit. Public-looking waterfront space does not make every pontoon open to visitors. Leave working areas clear and follow signs or permission requirements.
Natural sites need their own preparation
The provincial tourism description discusses caves, a waterfall and ancient settlement themes around Karacasöğüt. This is not proof that each place is currently open or suitable for an unguided walk.
Choose a specific natural-site outing only after confirming access, guidance and current conditions. Adding an uncertain cave walk at the end of a beach day can create a very different trip. Bring footwear and supplies suited to the confirmed route.
A coastal view does not guarantee swimming access
For accommodation, ask how you reach the shore and where swimming is permitted. A sea-view room and direct access are separate features. Check transport and the return if staying outside the centre.
Çamlık and Sedir Island require another departure and visitor plan. Read the Boncuk Bay guide for its distinct conservation conditions.
Frequently asked questions
Is Karacasöğüt the same as Söğüt?
No. Check the full address; Söğüt in the Bozburun direction is a different settlement.
Can I explore a cave without preparation?
Not without confirming open access, guidance and current conditions.
Are all harbour pontoons public?
Do not assume so. Follow current working-area and private-access rules.
