Check where the boat actually departs
A Gökova tour sold from Marmaris is not necessarily a boat departing from Marmaris harbour. The programme may involve road transport to Akyaka or Çamlı. Compare the complete day, including transfer and boarding, rather than only the time on the water.
Akyaka programmes may relate to the Azmak and Gökova coast; the Çamlı direction is associated with Sedir crossings. The name “Gökova tour” alone does not include every one of these experiences.
Choose bays or an archaeological island day
A multi-stop swimming day and a Sedir Island visit are different priorities. If Kedrai’s remains are your main interest, look for a confirmed landing, admission arrangements and enough walking time. A view of the island from the water does not meet that goal.
For swimming, focus on stop durations, boat ladders and shaded space. Sea conditions can change the route. Azmak sightseeing is included only when the programme explicitly states it.
Compare the whole journey
Write a simple sequence from accommodation to road transfer, pier, main activity and return. Confirm meals, drinks, entry fees and the final drop-off before payment. Read the Çamlık pier guide and compare a dedicated Sedir tour. This makes your choice about the day you want, rather than the longest list of place names.
